In July 2025, Nicholls and Uttinger Civil completed the repair of 2 slip sites on Ohautira Road, near Raglan. 

Works included cut to waste of approx. 1,500m3 of material and import of 1,800m3 of GAP65 structural fill to build up a rock buttress to support the road. We also constructed a 32m long timber pole retaining wall with poles 375mm diameter and 9m long. 

We then constructed the pavement to reinstate both slip sites back to 2 lanes of traffic.
